Call me crazy but...i like it. I got two of the extra heavy ones from the web site. Our movie room is pretty chilly in the winter and these keep us plenty warm. They're also long to keep our feet covered (my wife is 6 ft tall - most robes don't cover your feet when you're sitting down).
I really like the sleeves when we have snacks or want to adjust the remote control. We ordered the the burgundy color, which looks good against our green couch. I machined-washed one of them after a food spill and it came out fine.
